The best time to hire a wedding planner/coordinator is at the beginning of the engagement.
Planners can be brought in at any time as needed to handle just a few aspects
or serve as the director of events on the actual wedding day. But as any previous bride will tell you, the sooner the better !
Most brides think that planning their wedding will be quick and easy, but the cost of hiring a planner more than pays for itself
in savings on contracts, not to mention in time and stress.
A good wedding planner is someone who:
Negotiates and/or translates contracts for services
Advises on locations, bands, photographers, etc, yet is willing to work with your choices
Points out logistical aspects of your preliminary plan that may need refining
Offers insights based on experience
Is detail-oriented
Has taste, style and creativity
Is a liaison between you and your vendors (Saving you many tears)
Gets you more bang for your buck!
Organizes and keeps planning on track
Is objective for wants, needs and budget constraints
Has working knowledges of all aspects of a wedding
Is particularly helpful in planning a long-distance or destination wedding
Demonstrates a good sense of humor
On the other hand.....A good wedding planner is NOT:
A member of the etiquette police
Unwilling to try something unique
Available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week
Free (Vendor kickbacks should be discounts to the bride, NEVER payment to the planner)
Just a general contractor
Just a personal shopper
A representative for only one particular vendor
Your sister, aunt or mother- They have a role in the wedding!
Your wedding should reflect your dreams, wishes and personality.
This planning for perfection is what I pride myself in offering to you.

I can offer suggestions for vendor and services,or I am more than happy to work with your choices.
You are welcome to use the resources within SpecialBlessings as a complete service or select
individual companies to supplement your plans. Either way, I will make sure the results are stunning.
I offer services individually or as packages:
Wedding Day Only:
1 planning meeting (Up to 2 hours)
Rehearsal Coordinated (Up to 2 hours)
Day of Wedding Coordinator services for up to 5 hours
Reception Coordinator services for up to 2 hours
Basic Fee $250
Package 1:
Less than 6 months to wedding date
4 planning meetings (Up to 6 hours total)
Vendor negotiations for all contracts, if desired
1 Rehearsal Coordinated (Up to 3 hours)
Day of Wedding Coordinator services for up to 4 hours
Basic Fee $500
Package 2:
6-12 months to wedding date
6 planning meetings (Up to 10 hours total)
Vendor negotiations for all contracts, if desired
1 Rehearsal Coordinated (Up to 4 hours)
Day of Wedding Coordinator services for up to 4 hours
Basic Fee $800
Package 3:
12 months or more to wedding date
12 planning meetings (Up to 20 hours total)
Vendor negotiations for all contracts
1 Rehearsal Coordinated (Up to 4 hours)
Day of Wedding Coordinator services for up to 6 hours
Basic Fee $1600
All services can be added on an individual basis or additional hours added to any package as needed.
I ask for a 50% deposit to reserve your wedding date, with the remaining balance due on the wedding day.
